WID at the Modern Railways 2009 show, Shanghai
The China Modern Railway Show was held in conjunction with the IHHA conference in Shanghai where WID had a very well-attended stand.

Construction completed on new WID facility
WID has moved its engineering and assembly operations to a new custom built facility in Rigaud, QC. The building was designed to comfortably accomodate our growing engineering staff and to optimize our assembly and integration activities.
November 2008
WID installs the last two TBOGI sites at CSX
A total of 10 tracks have been equipped with TBOGI systems capturing data from approximately 1.8 million axels per month.

WID works with Indian Railway
WID obtains an order from Indian Railway for a TBOGI system. Part of a pilot project, the system will be installed near Lucknow to monitor passenger and freight trains.

WID works with VALE Brazil
VALE Brazil places order for TBOGI-HD to be installed on the EVFM where it will be monitoring unit trains transporting iron ore mineral.

WID installs two TBOGI systems for CSX Transportation
The TBOGI rollout continued with the installation of two more systems on the CSX network.
November 2007
WID installs four TBOGI systems for CSX Transportation
The first four systems of a multi system rollout plan were delivered to CSX Transportation in November. The systems, including one double track system, were installed in Tennessee, Georgia and Pennsylvania. The rollout will continue in Q1 of 2008.

WID installs TBOGI-HD system in Western Canada
A TBOGI-HD system was delivered to Canadian Pacific Railway and installed near Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. The system is monitoring mixed freight.

WID installs TBOGI system at RailCorp in Sydney Australia.
Monitored traffic includes passenger and mixed freight.

WID installs TBOGI-HD system at ARTC, Australia
The TBOGI-HD system is installed at Cockburn, Australia. ARTC has selected WID as its preferred supplier for truck performance monitoring and hunting truck detection systems. It is the first of several TBOGI systems that will be delivered to ARTC.

WID at InnoTrans 2006
WID and the partners of the Wayside Monitoring Alliance will be at the InnoTrans2006 show in Berlin, Sept 19 to 22, 2006.
InnoTrans is an international industry showplace focusing on railway technology. In 2004, there were over 1,300 exhibitors spread over 80,000 m2 and over 45,000 visitors. In 2006, InnoTrans will be even bigger making it the premier European railway technology show.

WID and WMA to exhibit at WCRR2006
WID and its partners of the Wayside Monitoring Alliance will be hosting an exhibit at the 7th World Congress on Railway Research, June 4-8 2006, in Montreal, Canada. WID installs TBOGI component of SuperSite at Norfolk Southern
The TBOGI system is installed in Marion OH, an 85 MGT per year line where the traffic includes inter-modal, mixed freight and unit coal trains.
The TBOGI at Marion is part of a Wayside Monitoring Alliance SuperSite. It is the third TBOGI system in service at Norfolk Southern.

WID will present a paper entitled Monitoring Truck Performance on Tangent Track at the 7th World Congress on Railway Research, June 4-8 2006, Montreal, Canada. WID installs second TBOGI on Amtrak North East Corridor
WID completed the supply and installation of a TBOGI on Amtrak’s North East Corridor near Mansfield, MA. Monitored traffic is mostly passenger including the Acela at speeds up to 250km/h and also mixed freight. Amtrak also has a double track TBOGI system near Princeton, NJ, in operation since November 2002. October 2005 
TBOGI-HD sale to BNSF Railway
WID has been awarded a contract for the supply & installation of a double track TBOGI-HD system to BNSF. The TBOGI-HD at this location is a component of the WMA (www.waysidealliance.com) SuperSite which will include a Teknis WCM Wheel Condition Monitor and WMS Wayside Management System and also a Vipac RailBAM Bearing Acoustic Monitor. WID performs TBOGI survey at QNS&L
QNS&L is the railway operation of Iron Ore Canada in Sept-Iles, Canada. QNS&L transports iron ore over a 418km line between the mine and the port. WID performed a short term TBOGI survey to assess the general condition of the fleet and identify priority sub-performing trucks. June 2005

TBOGI sale to Norfolk Southern
WID has been awarded a contract by Norfolk Southern Corporation for the supply & installation of a TBOGI system, to be installed in Ohio, USA. The TBOGI is one of four subsystems of the WMS SuperSite (www.waysidealliance.com) which provides a comprehensive monitoring solution from integrated co-located wayside sensors. Norfolk Southern also have a TBOGI system installed in Loudon, TN in operation since September 2000 and a TBOGI-HD installed in Flat Rock, TN in operation since December 2003.
